MarinePlotter Update

How to update an existing sideloaded installation

• Step 1 - Save a backup copy of the prior "MarinePlotter package_#.#.#.0.zip" file.
• Step 2 - Uninstall the prior version of the MarinePlotter application.
• Step 3 - Install the new version of the application using the "sideload" procedure described in MarinePlotter sideload installation.

Run the new MarinePlotter program

The program will prompt you to update the program settings from the prior version.

If you have moved the 'MarinePlotterData' or the 'MarinePlotterCharts' folders, the program will prompt for the new folder locations.

Test the various commands you normally use and verify the program is performing as needed.

If the new version has problems

• Contact DJM Questor Software and report the problem.
• Uninstall the new version.
• Reinstall the prior version.
